Updates (oh, Joy!)
Well, I think it's time for an update to the ole' Journal. (Stress Levels included)
Still recovering from the back surgery mentioned in the last posting. The correct name for the procedure is:
"Two-Level Instrumented Interbody Spinal Fusion with Allograph"
Info about this procedure:

In otherwords, they opened-up my back, removed the L4-L5 and L5-S1 discs, inserted machined cadaver-bone inserts where the discs were and filled the inserts with an amalgum of bone grafts from the vertebrae, implanted Titanium screws in the L4, L5 and S1 vertebrae and connected them with Titanium rods to allow the vertebra to fuse together into a solid section of bone. Consequently, if some idiot asks me if I have any real backbone or claims that I don't I can honestly say "I definitely have more backbone that the average man" (Stress Level: 5/10)
I'm in the middle of the process of starting a new consulting firm and have also been offered a partnership in an existing firm. (Stress Level: 7/10)
Still not making any serious income. (Stress Level: 11/10)
Still deailing with abusive, moronic idiots on WebChat (irc.webchat.org) (Stress Level: 13/10)
Purchased "HALO" as possible Stress-reduction tool (Stress Level 16/10)
My lovely wife is reading this and is suggesting that I'm digging my own grave. My response: It's not a grave-pit unless you can still claw your way up and out of said pit.
May all of you who read this enjoy a wonderful Christmas Season. If you don't celebrate Christmas and are offended by my wish for you, then you are more than welcome to leave this Journal - no one forced you here.
